Our most popular ride, and the MOST value for your money! After you receive a detailed briefing about the aircraft, the parachute, and the flight characteristics of the World War II T-6 Texan, you and your Pilot will enjoy a full 30 minute ride in the Northern Virginia countryside. The flight itinerary is optimized for your enjoyment! After you take off from Culpeper Airport you can experience aerobatics and simulated combat maneuvers, or you can just cruise over to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and enjoy the sights with the canopy wide open. Bring your camera for this flight!
This Introductory ride lets you experience "a taste of what" the pilots experienced in the 1940's as they trained to fly Navy, Marine Corps, and Army Air Corps fighters. After your briefing, you and your pilot will take off from Culpeper Airport and sample the flying qualities of the venerable T-6 Texan. Due to the short flight duration, aerobatics are not offered on this flight. If you decided that you wish to take the longer flight in order to do aerobatics we can "upgrade" your flight at the airport!

This hour of Dual Instruction is offered on a case-by-case basis to those qualified pilots who are looking for proficiency training in the T-6, or are considering upgrading their Tailwheel qualification to include the T-6.
