I took a ride during Sun N Fun 2010. It had to be one of the most amazing experiences I've had so far in aviation. Just to say I flew in such a piece of history is enough but to say I got the chance to fly it and even endure the combat manuevers this plane once did in active duty is one I'll never forget. Nathan was a gentleman and a great pilot. He's got aviation running through his veins! I had the time of my life. You guys are not in the business of flying airplanes and selling rides. You are in the business of making memories. Ryan Nathanson Sun-N-Fun 2010

A Big Texanflight Thank You to Jack Tyson, Warbird Photographer Extraordinare for his fabulous photographs at Dubuque Formation Clinic and during the Warbird Airshow at Airventure 2009 in Oshkosh, WI.
Hello and I want to thank you for giving me a memory that will stay with me the rest of my life. The 30 minute ride in the WWII Warbird became more than I had ever expected and this is not just a plane ride, it is an adventure beyond words and an investment one can give to themselves for a lifetime of reflection and remembrance. I am looking forward to seeing you next year at the Sun N' Fun Fly In to again take a ride to the unknown of excitement and thrill that comes from riding, rolling and looping while being guided through these exercises by a capable experienced confident and very polite pilot.
Jeannie Keene-Franklin---Sun-N-Fun 09
The ground crew was also very responsive and polite to deal with while signing up for the ride. I want to tell anyone who reads this to definitely take a chance and spend the time to experience a ride in this plane. Even this many weeks later I think about going up in this plane and smile as I relive the joy that came to me. Thank you both for continuing to bring to the public the ability to find, feel and see what flying is all about!!

“I think Connor is still flying high! Please thank Nathan again for providing Connor with such a fantastic experience. I guess it's time to look into flight lessons. He is hooked!" Comments made by Connor McLernon’s mom, Kathy after Connor received his reward for completing his Eagle Scout with his Boy Scout troop.

Nate and Sheree,
Just wanted to say, "Thank You!" one more time for my flight on Saturday. I have long admired the airplane itself and just being able to be in one knowing how important it was in history both to the military pilots and also the WASP program was quite an experience. I can only imagine what it would have been like for the trainees to start in. What music that radial makes. What a sweetheart to fly! I could see myself being completely hooked. I'm still pinching myself that I actually got to fly one. Thank you so much for the opportunity.
Your kindness and enthusiasm are welcoming and made an enjoyable trip even more so. I appreciate all the time you took (especially Nate having to answer so many questions.) I also VERY much appreciate being able to log the time. That is something I will cherish in my logbook. I'm very grateful.
You have a great operation, and I will certainly be bragging on you to others. Thanks again for everything. Let me know if you ever need a co-pilot.............I'll be seeing you again at an airshow this year somewhere. Take care and God Bless,Sherrie Souder

Texan Flight was honored to give a special Valentine's Day 2009 ride to Joan Lemley at Culpeper Airport. In her own words:
"Had a thousand wishes come true, none could match the day you gave me yesterday. To celebrate 65 years, - a ride in my favorite plane, - and at my "home" base. Something spiritual there, heaven sent! You asked first thought: "Magical suspension of disbelief." You were so extra generous and thoughtful to give me that thrill, Mike. "
Thank you, Joan, for your service and commitment to our country at a time when it was so critically needed. TEXAN FLIGHT salutes YOU!!!
"Took a sponsor flight at the NAS Oceana Show, 2008. It was fantastic--Mike and Nate made me feel a part of the AT-6. They explained everything thoroughly including Safety, the flight, even the aerobatics with Nate. What a fantastic experience"! Christopher Coleman Springfield, VA

Dan Dayton's 80th Birthday present from his son, Dr. Peter Dayton during Oshkosh, 2008
Dr. Peter Dayton, flew with Tex at Sun-N-Fun 2008 and decided then to surprise his dad for his 80th birthday at EAA Airventure in Oshkosh, WI. We arranged the 30 minute ride and Dan, the birthday boy, didn't know he was going to get the ride until 5 minutes before he was escorted out to "77". Texan Flight really enjoyed being a part of such a special birthday surprise! Thanks, Dr. Dayton and we will see you at Sun-N-Fun, April 2009!
"Nathan had the big Texan in a perfect glide and we descended, bleeding off altitude. I watched the end of the runway pass under the silver wings and barely felt the wheels touch as Nathan set it down.WOW!Just enough to whet my appetite."
